Hello again...it's me! i have come back to you blog friend. Since March lots has happened, as does most everyone's life in a 9 month span. So i am back for now and hope to stay connected. Passion~
I loved watching the 2010 Olympics. My favorite event to watch is the figure skating. What i love most about watching the Olympics is how much passions the Olympians have. i just think how awesome for them that they know what they love to do and get to follow their dreams by participating in an event like the Olympics.
My passion bit me about 8 years ago. my Passion is scrapbooking. when i was not scrapbooking i was dreaming, talking and thinking about it. in fact i think my family started avoiding talking to me because their eyes would gloss over and they would do the courtesy nod to my jabbering. in their minds they were screaming i don't care that you have a color of paper that would match my shirt perfectly......
i have gotten better about not talking about it all the time. but i still dream and think about it. for me it has been my way to escape, i just love everything that is a associated with it. the colors, the embellishments, the art of it.
in a couple of weeks i am going attend my form of an "Olympics" it is a scrapbook retreat. we will spend the weekend wearing our "Olympic fashion" called Jammie's while we dish about our lives, eat yummy food, watch 80's movies all while we are "competing" to see who does not fall asleep first. (no one wants the medal of their bra being frozen ) the prize will be the black bags under our eyes. ;)
i would like to take a moment and thank my supplies.... i love you cardstock, scissors, punches, stamps, brads....xoxoxo and a big thank you to the men who make my "training" worth every hour spent cropping... my very handsome husband and 3 handsome boys.

my first post
My first Blog post~ i have been wanting to start a blog for some time and i have finally gotten up the nerve to do so. please bear with me while i wander blindly through this new adventure.
the main reason it took me so long to start a blog is because i was not sure what i would name my blog. after pondering i came up with Miss Lizzie's Heart. Miss Liz was a nickname from my mom and my blog post name is Lizzie G so i thought i would combine them to Miss Lizzie. then i thought about what am i going to post/blog about....and i figured it would be all things close to my heart!
